Watch the videos-- rank/order them to determine which is your favorite and your least favorite.

Homework:
SPACE CAT both TED talks for the 27th.

Be sure to use clear, specific, and relevant evidence to support all of your ideas.  Use the word wheel I gave you to help with tone.

You will be asked to first define the elements of SPACE CAT and then you will use your definitions to analyze a short speech


Continue with TED talk assignment OR your perspective journal if you finish early.

Read and analyze the Al Gore op ed using SPACE CAT

Prompt: Read the Op ed carefully. Then, in a well-written essay, analyze the rhetorical choices Gore makes to present his case to the American people.

Homework:  full analysis due October 4th; you will use the analysis to write the essay in class
